Dr. Eddie Casey

Eddie is the Fiscal Advisory Council’s Chief Economist and Head of Secretariat in addition to being an Assistant Professor/Adjunct Lecturer at University College Dublin. He joined the Council in 2014 having previously been employed as an economist at the National Treasury Management Agency, the Economic and Social Research Institute and the Central Bank of Ireland. Eddie holds a PhD in Macroeconomics from UCD. His research primarily focuses on macroeconomic analysis and forecasting.
